One Nature Mara River, a new luxury lodge in Tanzania’s northern Serengeti, is now accepting reservations ahead of its June opening. Located near the Mara River, the lodge will feature just seven villas, including a spacious family villa designed to accommodate up to six guests.
Each villa will offer views of the surrounding wilderness, with private decks, heated pools, indoor and outdoor showers and luxurious ensuite bathrooms. Villas will also be equipped with solar-powered air conditioning, an in-room bar, fridge, and fire stove for cozy nights in.
Facilities at One Nature Mara River will include a restaurant and bar, guest lounge, gym, outdoor cinema, boma area for traditional dining experiences, a trade post and a games area. In-room spa treatments will also be available.

Activities at the lodge include safari game drives, walking safaris, balloon safaris, bush breakfasts and dinners, intimate private dinners and VIP sundowners.
The lodge can be accessed by light aircraft to the airstrip at Kogatende, followed by a 30-minute drive to the lodge. From Kilimanjaro Airport, it is an hour and 30 minutes to Arusha; from Arusha Airport, the transfer flight to Kogatende Airstrip is an hour. Direct flights from Dar es Salaam’s Julius Nyerere Airport to Kogatende Airstrip are also available.
When booking, please note that there is a minimum recommended age of 2 years old for children. The lodge will be the newest addition to the One Nature Hotels and Resorts portfolio, joining the existing One Nature Nyaruswiga in central Serengeti.
