Ivy Kids- Monthly Subscriptions for Kids

Check out the kits!

Here are three Ivy Kids Kits that we tried out this summer! They are filled with so many fun activities!

Blueberries for Sal Kit

This kit contains over 12 science, math, art, literacy, and engineering activities inspired by the classic children’s book Blueberries for Sal. Kids collected blueberries in a tin pail, played games with an adorable plush bear, constructed a blueberry bush using foam, chenille stems, and blue beads, played paint stamping games, created a mama bear and baby bear craft, plus so much more.

My daughter Annabelle loved this book and the activities! She especially loved scattering the blueberries and picking them up with her stuffed bear. Re-enacting the story and making connections to it was so fun!

Planting the Wild Garden Kit

This kit contains over 12 science, math, art, literacy, and engineering activities inspired by the children’s book Planting the Wild Garden. This was a new book we hadn’t read before. My kids are huge plant lovers, so they loved doing some planting science, painting a planter, making a wind chime, and exploring some creative games. The fox puppet was pretty fun to make too.

Annabelle loved how each box had a personalized item in it just for her too!

Little Dog Lost Kit

This kit contains over 12 science, math, art, literacy, and engineering activities inspired by the book Little Dog Lost, which is a true story about a little dog that travelled down the river on a floating piece of ice. With this kit we built a boat for a plush dog, explored ice and how it floats, constructed a raft for a miniature Baltic the dog, used a globe to find Baltic’s home, conducted an experiment with fur, created a dog puppet, solved number problems with a dog number line, played games with paw stampers plus so much more.

My daughter had learned about the story of Baltic at school, so this was such a fun extension opportunity to build on what she already knew. She loved the pup themed games and ice experiment.
