TEL is going to open in 2024!
TEL 4 Stations have officially been handed to SMRT. That means construction
works have been completed and testing done. The final step will be the
integration test to ensure TEL 4 will run seamlessly with TEL 1 to TEL
3.
These are all the TEL Stations and what you can expect from each station.
Tanjong Rhu (TkatonE23)
Attractions: Kallang Basin, Singapore Indoor Stadium, Tanjong Rhu Park
Connector

Tanjong Rhu station is located at Tanjong Rhu Road, serving the residents of
Tanjong Rhu, staying in condos such as Casuarina Cove, Water Place, Pebble
Bay, Sanctuary Green and more.

It is also next to the
Tanjong Rhu Park Connector, which is a good place for a relaxing jog to either Gardens by the Bay or
Kallang River.

Across the river is the Singapore Indoor Stadium. This station would also
serve visitors to the Singapore Indoor Stadium for sports events or concerts.
Katong Park (TE24)
Attractions: Katong Park Hidden Fort, East Coast Park

Katong Park will serve residents along Meyer Road, Mountbatten and students
from Duman High School. It is also a gateway to East Coast Park.

Built next to Katong Park, it also has significance for history buffs. Katong
Park is one of Singapore’s oldest parks and even has a hidden fort buried
underneath it!

For foodies, we recommend a visit to
Cafe Melba for brunch!
Tanjong Katong(TE25)
Attractions:
Chinese Swimming Club, East Coast Park coastal Playgrove

Tanjong Katong station serves the residences of Amber and Jln Seaview.

There are eateries along Tankjong Katong to be discovered. The station is also
located near the Chinese Swimming Club. You can also access East Coast Park,
with Coastal Playgroce within walking distance.
Marine Parade (TE26)
Attractions:
Parkway Parkway, i12 Katong, Joo Chiat and East Coast Eateries, Perankan
Heritage. East Coast Park Parkland Green

Marine Parade Station will probably have the largest footfall among all the
TE4, especially with incoming visitors from all over Singapore.

It is the gateway to the famous Joo Chiat and East Coast Road eateries.

Joo Chiat is also the home of Peranakan heritage. Here, you can still
find old Perankan houses, dine in Perankan restaurants like
Old Bibik’s Peranakan Kitchen and
Perankan Inn and explore
Perankan Heritage.

Do check out the
Katong Murals
while you are there.

Marine Parade station is also close to several malls. The most popular ones
are Parkway Parade and i12 Katong. There will also be an underground mall next
to Marine Parade Station that will have 12,370 square meters of shopping area
and will connect Marine Parade Station to Marine Terrace Station!

Hope over to East Coast Park via the underpass, and you will reach Parklane
Green. Here, you can enjoy a bite by the sea and watch the world go by.
Marine Terrace (TE27)
Attractions:
Residence and School Enclave, Siglap Park Connector

Serving the residential enclave of Marine Terrace, this station is close to St
Patricks Secondary, CHIJ Katong, Ngee Ann Primary and Victoria JC. The
station along the TE27 line will have the most schools.

Joggers can also use the Siglap Park Connector close by to get to Kembangan or
East Coast Road
Siglap (TE28)
Attractions: East Coast Seafood Center

Siglap station is located in the private enclave near Laguna Park and Seaside
Residence. If you are a student at Victoria School, you will probably be using
this station a lot.
You can also cross over to East Coast Park and you would reach East Coast
Seafood Center. Other than that, there are few attractions at this station.
Bayshore (TE29)
For now, there is little at Bayshore. But if you are a Lucky Heights or Costal
Del Sol and The Bayshore resident, you would be glad that Bayshore is opening
soon.

With a brand new town planned for Bayshore, things could change in 5 year
time!
