Wyndham Alltra resort opens in the Dominican Republic: Travel Weekly

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has opened its newest Wyndham Alltra all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic’s Samana province.

The renovated Wyndham Alltra Samana is a reflagging of the Grand Paradise Samana. The resort is managed by Playa Hotels & Resorts.

Located in the town of Las Galeras, the Wyndham Alltra Samana has 404 guestrooms with private balconies. A selection of Club Room accommodations, featuring ocean views and access to premium amenities, will become available later this year.

Home to nearly a dozen food and beverage concepts, the resort’s dining options include an international buffet, an Italian farm-to-table restaurant and an island-inspired grill.

The resort has four pools and offers activities like dance lessons, archery, volleyball and badminton.

The Wyndham Alltra Samana, the Alltra brand’s first outpost in the D.R., will be joined by the 620-room Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana later this year.

Launched in 2021, Wyndham Alltra is an upper-midscale brand. It has three all-inclusives in Mexico, in Cancun, Riviera Nayarit and Playa del Carmen.
